Baked Apple Crumble Apple

This is definitely my favourite way to eat an apple. It’s easy to prepare and requires only a few ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Apple

  • 3 tbsp oats

  • Honey

  • Maple syrup (I used Walden Farms pancake syrup)

  • Coconut sugar

  • Cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. Cut out and scoop out the insides of the apple and dice it (easier after you pop the apple in the microwave for a few seconds

  3. In a bowl, mix together your apples, cinnamon, sugar, and syrup

  4. For the crumble, mix together oats, syrup, sugar, and almond flour (I didn’t have any, but I would have if I did)

  5. Put the mixture inside the apple, and add more crumble on top, followed by more syrup

  6. Bake for 12 minutes or until it’s as soft and cooked as you like
